The Impulse

Women gets into a car with a man as they drive off.

M- Did you make sure nobody saw you?

F- Yes, relax! Nobody saw me.

M- Good, we'll be back in the states tomorrow, nobody will even know we were here.

F- That's how we planned it.

M- It ran well. He's going to wonder what happened when he gets home tomorrow.

F- That's what he gets for being so.....selfish with his money.

M- When you get to the states, you need to disappear for a while, in case they find a lead.

F- They didn't find anything, I made sure of it.

M- We can never be sure.

F- Yes! I did it perfectly, now i just need to get my share!

M- You lay low and you'll get your share.

F- NO! I can do whatever I want and I still get my share
(The man pulls over and parks in an alley)
M- Not if you're going to attract attention to yourself.

F- Who do you think you are trying to rip me off? I did what I was asked and I did it exactly as planned

M- I'm just trying to protect our a$$es because I don't want the FBI to show up on my front porch next week.

F- As I said before, you need to relax.

M- Relax eh? Do I looked relaxed to you? Yea I am, I've done this multiple times and every time we've been fine because we've been smart. You're being the idiot!

F- No I'm not

M- Keep talking and you'll never see your money

F- Why you little snitch
(women reaches for gun on her leg, Man grabs her and strangles her to death)
M- We'll that worked out for you didn't it? Guess that's more money for me!

Bad Poetry "Standing Strong"

There is no way I'm falling down
No way that I'm being pushed around
I guess that's what I get for not being brown
I will always fight you
no mater what
ya
you never see me getting struck
because I stand strong, I'm never falling down
there's nothing you can do to take me down
because I run this town
ya ya like Jay-z

Next time I'm seen
I'll be fresh and clean
Ya I'm pretty mean

There is no way I'm falling down
no way I'm being pushed around
ya ya I never do son
Remember back to 1970
Me and Big were friends
I grew up on the same turf ya ya
That's why I'm where I'm at now

That's why I'm never being stopped
Big is the only one who got popped
If you ever have a question on who is the boss
I can tell you that it's not Rick Ross
but take one look at me
and you will see
that I'm a mother sucka P.I.M.P!!!!

Direct Orders

Rock out like you just won the state championship and YOU hit the game winning shot
Rock out like you just got your first job and its not at McDonald's
Rock out like there is no tomorrow because we never know when and where we may die
Rock out like you're famous
Rock out everyday because you simply can
Rock out like you just been reunited with your best friend and you haven't seen him since high school
Rock out like you don't have a girl friend and you decide to hit up the club
Rock out like lil wayne
Rock out like you got a B+ on a test you thought you failed
Rock out like you just won a lottery and you can finally eat again
Rock out like a prisoner who is in for life
Rock out like Miami is rocking out now, even before they have actually won
Rock out like a kid in fresh snow
Rock out like it is your birthday everyday
Rock out like summer vacation
Rock out like a Friday night football game
Rock out because when you're not rocking your life is empty and meainingless

Shake the Dust

This is for everyone who ever got dumped by a girl for a reason that is unknown.
This is for for the people who were happy that the girl dumped him so they could hit up the club that night
Shake the dust
This is for the kids with the bad haircuts
The kids with the awkward moments
and the kids who never get to eat with their family
This is for the white kids who grew up in south central
This is for anybody who ever lost money on a bet
Shake the dust
This is for the teachers, who work so hard at what they do and get paid so little yet they mold the minds of our great ones
This is for the kids
This is for the kids who always got what they wanted
The kids who everyone hated because of who there parents were
Shake the dust
This is for the kdis who never found someone to love but found something to love
This is for the sport stars who actually gave it there all and didn't use the fame to their advantage
This is to the kids who practice 8 hours a day because they don't want to deal drugs and end up like everyone else they've ever known
This is to the common man, the one that nobody ever notices, and the common people
Shake the dust
This is forthe kids who got cut from the team even though they were the better players; the kids who still worked hard for their dream and eventually made it big
This is for the kids who worked hard everyday but never made it big...that used their hard work for something more meaningfull than sports

I'm Thinking About You

I'm thinking about you. I'm thinking about you like Jordan thinks about basketball. Like Miami thinks about championships. Like Cleveland thinks about betrayal. I'm thinking about you like songs think about lyrics. Like rappers think about money. Like friends think about friends. I'm thinking about you like the sun thinks about the moon and the moon thinks about the stars. Like ski's think about snow. Like blacks' think about whites'. I'm thinking about you like a brain thinks about memories. Like my thoughts think about thinking. Like my words think about speaking. I think about you so much my thoughts forget thinking and my brain forgets...everything else. I'm thinking about you...all the time.

Love is...

10. Love is a dirty bar of soap.
9. Love is a pair of broken ski's.
8. Love is a fresh snowfall, to some people it's amazing and fun and to others it's just cold.
7. Love is a worn basketball, it has a lot of use but over time lost satisfaction.
6. Love is a shattered window.
5. Love is a collapsed bridge.
4. Love is the memories of the good ol' days.
3. Love is a plane ticket, it's a new journey to a far off place.
2. Love is a pair of Jordan's.
1. Love is an old, sign less, dirt road.

Why I took this class

I took creative writing because I thought it would be a lot more fun than a normal English class. I didn't really want the usual and I actually enjoy writing even though many people think that I don't. I enjoy many things such as snowboarding, biking, basketball, and just hanging out with friends. I will be writing under the pen name of Frank Lucas and I hope everyone enjoys me writing. Anyways, it was nice to introduce myself.

Sincerely,

Frank Lucas
